All D-Line diesel engines are HVO certified and can run on more sustainable fuels.<\/p>\n<p>The common rail engines of the VETUS D-Line are characterized by smooth running, high power and high torque, low speeds as well as high reliability and durability. They meet the new RCD2 emissions standard and are ideal for use with on-board hydraulics. The engines feature a CAN bus system with SAEJ1939 protocol, but are also easily compatible with NMEA2000 systems. The MPA34BS2 instrument panel and four flexible LMX140 motor bearings are included as standard.<\/p>\n<p>The VETUS D-Line engines have the unique water-cooled engine cover developed by VETUS. This not only reduces the heat in the engine room, but also minimizes the noise generated by the already quiet engine block. The cover can also be used as a step. Other features of the D-Line engines include a smaller air filter to save space in the engine room, new exhaust manifold insulation, a standard high-performance generator (160 amps), and an optional second generator. If this option is chosen, the front belt cover will not be installed.
